Easter Weekend

Spring is such a fun and pretty time of year. It's already been pretty hot here in Texas, so I can only imagine what the summer holds for us. I hope Hazel likes swimming. For Easters (I have to say it like that because of Nacho Libre), we just stayed at home. It was so nice to have James home for an extra day! I didn't know if Hazel would care much for an egg hunt, but since she likes to collect things in bags/boxes, I got her a little basket. She loved playing with and collecting eggs throughout the week. It's nice she doesn't know yet that they're usually filled with goodies!

Here's Hazel modeling the bunny bow and Easter shirt Aunt Natalie got her to match her girls. I'm shocked I got a picture of her sitting still and smiling!

On Saturday, we tried out a sand park, but she seemed more interested in the spray park across the way. I love her face in this one. Pure joy.

Here we are on Easter Sunday (sad James isn't in it.)

Here, Hazel is ready to go find some eggs at Gma and Gpa Palmer's!

It'll be fun to have a real Easter lesson with Hazel next year when she can understand a little more. I loved the Bible video entitled He Is Risen. I'm very grateful for that message. HAPPY EASTER!
