I have so much fun with these little kiddos. Their cuteness warrants a picture every half hour.
One weekend we had a family date at the park with some friends. It was so nice to have a little warmer weather! These are my mommy friends (and the outfits were part of a practical joke on one of the husbands). Love these girls!
Of course, I needed an excuse to bake these BYU mint brownies, so I brought them to the park to share.
Usually Hazel would rather color however she wants all over the page (she's very creative), but this time I saw that she was trying to do her name. I thought it was so cute, especially with her left-handed-ness and all.
Hazel has also been doing her 1st dance class. It's an intro to ballet, gymnastics, and tap, and she loves it! I love watching her with her little personality come out. Sometimes instead of following exactly what the teacher is doing, she does an awesome rendition of her own -- ballet with a jazz flare of sorts.
I finally reserved my first Bountiful Basket, and it was like Christmas! I love getting a surprise assortment of fruits and veggies to work into a weekly menu.
For Spring Break, we joined Nat and her kids on a trip down to Beaumont! It's always a great time! The water wasn't quite warm enough to swim in, but the kids still played by and with the water for hours.
We visited Grandpa Hayes out in Vidor and enjoyed hearing stories and words of wisdom as usual! I was fully entertained just looking around the room, in awe of his creativity. My favorite was the duct taped, upside down stool as his walker carrier. He's almost 99 years old and still as sharp as a tack. Nat asked him what his favorite decade was so far, and he said it was the one in which he married Vivian. Heart melted.
We had a blast with family! My kids never lack love and attention from their cousins.
