Aunt "Nannie" is always sending us handmade bows and monogrammed shirts so we can match her kids for holidays, etc. She's so Mom - I love it. Here's Hazel showing off her shamrock shirt, but unfortunately you can't see her adorable shamrock bow.
We were supposed to be with Nat and her kids over Spring Break and St. Patrick's Day, but my doctor said I shouldn't travel so close to the baby, so Hazel had to take her picture solo this year.
The only festive thing we did this year was to make shamrock cookies, which were pretty yummy. They called for sour cream and I didn't even have to chill the dough, so it was really fast, and they were really soft.
We may have not made it to Beaumont for St. Patrick's Day, but Hazel did get to go with James and his dad to the park to fly her first kite! She loved it!
Then that weekend, we also celebrated our friend Don's birthday, which was on St. Patrick's Day. Happy 29th! It's fun to have all these friends so close. From the boys, we've had 4 baby girls so far (Congrats Dave and Mel on the sweet new addition!), and by June we'll have 3 more kiddos!
