Shout Out for the Baby Daddy
It's a tough job being a good dad and husband -- especially when your wife is hormonal and pregnant. My emotions are all over the place it seems, but he holds it together for us. Nothing melts my heart more than to see James and Hazel loving on each other. I'm thrilled she's a daddy's girl. I think that'll come in handy when we have another little one around here. The highlight of Hazel's and my day is when Daddy gets home. He makes every effort possible to be home before she goes to bed, and she just soaks it up, even if it's just for 10 minutes. He's usually the first one in to work so he can be home as soon as possible everyday. He provides so well for us so I can stay home with Hazel, which is the best gift he could give me. At work, he's highly respected and I appreciate that they realize he's the bomb.com. He deserves to be praised and rewarded for his hard work. He's even been making time to stay in shape and take care of himself, which is only a problem in that I'm getting bigger while he's getting more fit. I got to watch him at the batting cages the other night, and I was a proud wife. He was a switch-hitter in high school, and I honestly couldn't tell which was his dominant side. All I know is he hits hard. Plus, he's good at any sport he tries, which is super attractive. So, ya, he's kind of amazing, and I'm super excited to be carrying his little man in my tummy (although Hazel thinks he's in her tummy). I can't wait to meet my little boyfriend because honestly, what could be bad about having 2 Jameses in my life?
