The Many Names and Faces of Hazel

The nicknames just keep coming! Basil is one that has stuck from the beginning from Aunt Natalie. Aunt Angie likes to call Hazel "Hazel Baze." Uncle Matt prefers "Stega-Pomper." Explanation: Hazel only grows hair in a line down the center of her head, which makes for great mohawks. She kind of reminded us of a stegasaurus, so Matt came up with the name "Stega-Pomper." (Pomper is how this cute kid Alex used to say my name Palmer.)

We have daily staring contests. She always wins.

This little girl is 3 months old! Already?? Time went by slowly in the beginning, but now it seems like she was just born. This is definitely the most fun stage so far. She found her voice a couple weeks ago, and when she gets going, there's no stopping her! If I'm chatting on the phone, I find myself having to speak up because she's so loud! It's so cute though. I love it.
