As James said... Heater Man #2 got more done in 20 minutes than #1 got done in 3 weeks. Arriving at an astounding ten minutes EARLY, Heater Man #2 even came with an assistant, took out the old furnace, left for an hour to do some metal fittings for installation, and finished up the job all in a few hours time. Incredible! I was so happy that I asked James if he wanted to give him a tip. James replied, "Well, I was actually already thinking about offering him a cookie!" You have to know that homemade chocolate chip cookies are very dear to James's heart and are difficult to give up. That was a HUGE tip in his mind. I convinced him otherwise, however, because Heater Man #2 didn't seem like he wanted to be buddy buddy, much less eat strangers' cookies.
At the end of the day, we realized that we don't want a friend in our Heater Man; we want a man who can do his job and do it well.

Ah, I know you're much happier with a heater but I am oh so sad to see that the heater man stories have concluded. It was like reading the last in the Twilight series...
:(
When I saw the title of your post I was secretly hoping the "results" were that you were preggo! Still good results though. :) I'm glad you guys are nice and warm now.
I loved it and am soo glad you documented it(mainly because I enjoyed reading that so much!)How funny! Well at least now it's funny. Probably not so humorous when you're freezing your tooshie off!
Oh my goodness! I'm so glad you finally have heating again! If that was me, that heater man might not still be alive!
