The only bummer of the appointment was the sick nasty glucose test. I fasted since midnight (which believe me, that's not an easy task for a pregnant Hayes girl) and went in and was told my glucose was high. Great. Well, I drank the delicious flavored water (gross) on an empty stomach (even grosser) and an hour later, my glucose went down significantly. Now, make sense of THAT! It's supposed to go up. Well, now I need to go have it redone on Thursday morning. Apparently I shouldn't have eaten pancakes for breakfast the night before either. No one told me! But believe me, I got the message loud and clear not to have sugar from the secretary. She was judging me for the toaster pastry and HUGE jug of OJ James brought me for breakfast right before the sonogram. I told her my husband wanted to see our baby dance, hence the sugar. I tried to defend myself and say I don't always load up on sugar, and I really am not a juice drinker, but I don't think she believed me. Anyway, I get a couple of days to clear out some of the sugar (no candy in my purse... sad day) before I go in for round 2. If I have to have the 3 hour test after that, so help me. Anyway, besides possibly being diabetic, our little girl seems to be doing just great! Here's the most recent shot of my bump (my cousin's girl points to it and calls it "ball") with my cute pregnant relatives -- Ashna and Kylene. We're all having girls!! So fun!

More Bump
Our girl is definitely growing! At our appointment yesterday, we found out little girl is 2.8 pounds already. Good work! She's a little ahead of schedule, but that's fine with me! The sonogram also told us she'll probably have long legs... her thigh bone measured a little long. How cute is that? I loved seeing her sweet face again -- this time with a little more chub to it. She also has proven to be quite the stretcher. The whole time, her legs were straight over her head. She apparently likes to fold herself in half. If she was trying to impress us, she did! She looks so cute; I can hardly stand waiting to meet her... well, I can... I want her to be fully chubbified. We have 12 weeks left!

Thats a great picture!!! Doesn't that break the pattern for Matt and Kylene?!?!?!?!
You're SOOO cute, Christie!!! I love this picture!
We'll be waiting to hear about your test. Am I reading right that they aren't going to make you go right to the 3 hour test? So lucky! You get a redo on the 1 hour.
And I'm jealous that you got to see your little girl again. I don't know when our next sonogram is! =(
Love the pic! Can't wait to see you guys this weekend!
you look beautiful! keeeeeep growing :)
Rules of pregnancy: Never post a picture of another pregnant woman without her consent. ;)
Not the best picture of me, but it IS your blog. I'll let it slide this time. haha.
Can I just tell you how happy I am to be pregnant with you two? So fun! Can't wait until my ultrasound (...if there is one.) We didn't get one after the glucose testing. Here's hoping.
I can't believe you only have 12 weeks to go. Oh how I wish I could be there to see her when she arrives. You look so adorable in this picture. Cute mamma:)
